MOSAICO is a cake and pastry shop in Aquileia that has been in business for more than 30 years. It specializes in making local artisan cakes and sources its ingredients by working with small producers from the surrounding area.

Mosaico also has a wide range of gluten-free, vegan and sugar-free products.

As well as making cakes and pastries, since 2018 we have been running COCAMBO: the first chocolate factory in Friuli Venezia Giulia to carry out the entire production process, starting with the cocoa beans. In our premises in Aquileia, we organize guided tours of the chocolate factory, cooking and pastry-making lessons, lunches for groups of tourists and various kinds of events.

Our flagship product is DOLCE AQUILEIA: a creation of our own that is inspired by the cakes of ancient Rome. Made with walnuts, spelt and honey from local businesses, it has a soft filling and is reminiscent of the cakes eaten in late antiquity in the Aquileia area.
