LIQUORIFICIO SUSANNA
I first ventured into the world of flavoured grappa in 1996, guided by my experience as a restaurateur in the mountains I call home.
The real impetus behind the endeavour was my grandfather Mene, an unforgettable man who was captured for posterity standing proudly on a donkey, in an iconic photo. His wisdom and love of local traditions were the spark that lit my way into the realm of grappa and infusion.
As the years went by and I excitedly explored new flavours and aromas, my interest kept growing.
Eventually, in 2021 I felt that the time had come to share my passion with the world and I started Liquorificio Susanna.
It is a place where traditions and innovation are fused, in unique spirits that tell stories of distant lands and authentic flavours.
I find it hard to explain how I feel every time I create a new grappa.
Quite simply, it is a mystery filled with colour, fragrances and flavours. It is also hard to explain why, but it is an absolutely delightful experience.
