Mill – Fine Food

Innovation, creativity and sustainability come together in a single mission. From chef to entrepreneur, Roberto Franzin founded Macino Fine Food in Trivignano Udinese (UD), developing a circular technology that upcycles agricultural by-products – such as grape pomace, brewers’ spent grain and ancient Friulian apples – into high-quality flours and baked goods.
His research is dedicated to building a true circular food economy: craft products born from the recovery and valorisation of local resources, guided by integrated environmental policies and full respect for the consumer.
Macino flours and other products combine authentic flavour, carefully selected raw ingredients and sustainable packaging, with paper made from agricultural and citrus by-products – to communicate the value of wholesome, mindful food.
