PEZZETTA
Pezzetta has a long history when it comes to the pleasures of the palate. It has been in business for almost a century, with three generations all working towards the same goal: top quality for the taste buds.
Back in the 1920s, the Pezzetta family travelled around the dairies of Friuli selecting the best cheeses to ripen.
Marco and Paolo are now at the helm. Around ten years ago, they turned a little warehouse into large new premises spanning more than 3,000 m².
This meant they could guarantee quality in strict compliance with health and hygiene rules and Quality Management System requirements.
In 2009 Pezzetta bought and renovated the old Ovaro dairy among the Carnia mountains, where traditional Friulian cheese is made.
Both the production site in Ovaro and the ripening and packaging facility in Fagagna have been awarded IO SONO FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA certification.
